Paul Ben Nettikkadan ; (6) Mr. John Nettikkadan ; (7) Mr. Francis Nettikkadan ; (8) Rev. Fr. George Nettikkadan ; (9) Mr. Sebastian Nettikkadan.

Date of birth : as per SSLC Certificate book : 22nd June, 1938.

Native place : Village : Meloor, Near Chalakudy town, in Trichur District, Kerala, INDIA.

Brief life history : Studied in Meloor and Pariyaram schools up to SSLC (Matriculation). In 1956, Joined as an Aspirant for Priest-hood in the minor seminary of the Society of Divine Word (SVD) - a German order at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.Priests from Europe, Australia, USA and Canada were there. Lived and studied there for three years, when an Englishman taught English. Was not happy with the English teaching as it was not systematic or scientific, but piece-meal in nature. Had to leave SVD after three years, as the superiors told him "You are not competent in Latin study. You will not be able to learn Philosophy and Theology in Latin later on". Instead of returning to Kerala, went to Calcutta (now Kolkata) where his maternal uncle Mr. John Koithra (died in 1990) was a businessman advocate. Lived in Calcutta for 34 years. Started doing research at home as a hobby to make the English language teaching a ladder-climbing-like-experience - most systematic, easy and fast, from 1961 (when he got the first job) without any external help. It was a self-contained search (where everything was haphazard except the aim, because he had no knowledge of research and there was no guide or advisor, except God for his research).

In course of his search for the fulfilment of his definite aim, accidentally he put his finger on the Verb portion of one of the several sentences he had written as samples of different types of sentences in English. He observed the remaining portion of the short sentence. He noticed that the sentence without Verb had become meaningless. When he lifted the finger, the meaning of the sentence got restored. He made similar experiments with other words in the sentence. Then the sense of the sentence did not disappear.Suddenly he exclaimed "Eureka".That was the beginning of the most scientific methodology to learn any language easily, fast, interestingly and most productively, which he could present to the world later on (in 1978). His placing the finger on the Verb was just like the fall of an apple for Isaac Newton which led him to the invention of a major theory. Since then, Mr. Nettikkadan's whole attention and direction of research became most meaningful as he started searching for the role of Verb in a language(and later on found out that it is a universal phenomenon for all languages.) Then happened the second most crucial incident in his research : He found out the relationship between 15 tenses of each Verb as : It is by adding some time or manner to the same original Verb, we get the 15 Tense forms of that Verb. We use those 15 Tense forms to make 15 different sentences, to be expressed under 15 occasions. From this finding came out his discovery :"Verb + time = tense".This made a big difference to students who learn about the various uses of Verb in a language. Till then, each tense was being taught by teachers separately, but without telling what "Tense" is and without showing any relation with other tenses from the same original verb. After that he found out a technique to convert every Verb into 15 Tenses, so that students can be taught their usage easily Later on he discovered that there are eight categories of Verbs in English, each having different Tense forms, the maximum being 15. This was another important discovery, since the knowledge of the meaning and proper usage of these eight categories of Verbs alone give flexibility and extension in one's communication skill in a language. His discovery of a great mystery about these eight categories of Verbs is shocking. It is given under the heading "Shocking mysteries of Language Science" in this website. Then he found out that every Verb changes its form when used in a new family. There are 32 families of sentences in English. So, each Verb can change form 32 times when moving through all the families of sentences. This is a brand new knowledge in the language teaching field. Finally he reached the ultimate discovery that there are 1877 usages for Verb in English. This is the basis for discovering that there are 1877 types of expressions or sentences in English, each extra use of Verb being responsible for the formation of each additional type of sentence. This crucial discovery (It is unique in the world, because nobody had ever traveled in this line before him, and there is no known information about anybody else using this route and making another discovery.) paved the way for creating the methodology to teach English just like climbing a long ladder with ease, interest, great speed and surety.

In 1978, he brought out his first book "Is English So Easy ? !!" to learn English in self-study style through the medium of Malayalam language (the Vernacular of Kerala). Later he made an attempt to make a similar book for the people of Bengal - with the help of Mrs. Sunanda Ghosh for translation into Bengali). This venture opened the door for more of his inventions, as he found a gulf of difference between Malayalam and Bengali languages, when translated into English. The net result was his invention of the "Linguistic Yardstick" to measure unnecessary complexities in different languages to make people aware that their mother tongue eats up a lot of their as well as other users' extra time and efforts, because of lack of knowledge of the Language Science. This yardstick also helps people to know 'which language is easier or more difficult to learn and practise, before deciding or selecting it for study. This attempt led him to the invention of the most scientific and the easiest language for communication i.e. Uni Lingua, built up on the principles of an absolutely scientific language arrived at in the Linguistic Yardstick.

Books authored by Mr. Jacob Nettikkadan :Totally 13 books have been written by him, most of them being to teach English through Malayalam and Bengali. The only other book he wrote in 1982 was "Inventions Galore" containing three of his inventions briefly i.e. The Scientific Methodology to Learn Foreign Languages, The phonetic alphabet (to avoid the massive strain of learning by heart spellings and pronunciations of words in English) and the Linguistic Yardstick. In 1998 he wrote a totally revised book to teach English by using the experience for many years of teaching English in a scientific way to students ranging from PhDs, Postgraduates, Advocates, Scientists, Engineers, MBAs and Doctors. All the book-writing so far had the disadvantage for him personally, because the books could not be used by people who did not know Malayalam. It was in 2006, he wrote the first English version of the book "Easy Way To Learn English" in four volumes, by taking eight years to complete. The major distinction of this four volume book is that it is the first English Grammar book in the world, according to the dictionary meaning of the word "grammar".It contains more than 5,700 new things about the English language, which you may consider correction or improvement in English for the purpose of better way of teaching, especially to people who are not born to English. That is why this book guarantees the learner not to face any confusion or doubt in learning English. You can learn from this book how to make 1,877 types of expressions or sentences in English, 1877 techniques to make so many types of sentences and what are the 1877 usages of Verb in English.Plus it contains most of the mysteries of language science in a very interesting way.The methodology presented in this book is the most lovable one, because difficult portions are mostly expressed through similes, stories and graphic diagrams. When a trained person conducts the class, you will simply love the English language and repeat what Mr. A.M.A. Mohamed, Doha, Qatar said "I used to fear English, but now I love English. English was hard like rock earlier, but it is soft as butter now".One of the most amazing things in this book is the treatment of the most difficult portion of the English language, which is considered the "Bermuda Triangle" of English for most scholars and experts to convert it into a "user friendly" portion. These are reasons why Mr. Nettikkadan asserts that the learners of his 15 day long residential course will have more scholarly, extensive and deeper knowledge about the English language than any PhD in English from any University in the world may have. The latest book of Mr. Jacob Nettikkadan is"The Importance of Personality Development" - another rare and the most valuable book for students to undergo true education and become truly educated in life. To get ten times of the value paid is very easy, but to derive 100 times benefit one has to labour a lot.

Own family : Married on 30th December, 1968.Wife : Chinna (Chinnamma, Chinnu, graduate) - daughter of Late Chummar and Aliakutty Chummar, Vattoly family, Kadukutty, Ernakulam District, Kerala, India. Elder son : . Suffered from Meningitis at the age of 7 years. Can speak English, Hindi, Bengali and Malayalam. Second son : Siraj - took B.Tech. Engineering degree from Trichur Engineering College, M.B.A. degree from X.L.R.I., Jamshedpur. Married on 11th January, 2009. Wife : Julee (Postgraduate in International Trade), daughter of Mr. Jaison and Mrs. Lilly Panikulangara, Kuttipuzha, Ernakulam Dist. Kerala. Their daughter : Sancta Siraj, was born on 7th January, 2010.

Academic qualification :B.Com degree from Calcutta University, India. Won the championship and trophy for the Inter-collegiate Debate competition.

Actual qualification :Inventor of six brand new inventions in the linguistic field, the first being The Original Communicative English (A scientific Methodology to learn foreign languages) and a new thesis on language teaching. His distinction is that in 20 centuries (two millennia) no other person has succeeded in producing similar success.

Experience and major activities in life : Worked in different commercial establishments in Kolkata (then Calcutta), India for 24 years, having the designation "Export Manager", well versed in Import formalities and procedures, for seven years. Underwent a training course on Import/Export, sponsored by UNCTAD, selecting 40 members from the whole of India. In 1983, UNESCO, France showed interest to give financial aid to make Uni Lingua - one of his six inventions - into a world language, because of its utter simplicity to learn and practise ( the most exciting details of Uni Lingua are available in this website). In 1984, he established Xavier Institute of Management - a Government recognized Institute, as directed by UNESCO, to receive their fund. But the application for the fund was rejected by an Officer in the Education Department of the Government of India. Then voluntarily opted to become a teacher and commenced a brand new course "Bachelor of Import /Export Management", designing the course content including the syllabus without any help from outside. The course duration was only two months - two hours' class each on three days a week. Later on it was branded as the best course on Import, Export Management in India according to career guidance booklets. Apart from a 100% practical approach in the step by step procedures and implementation of rules and procedures in Import and Export, what the participants admired the most was"The Birds' eye-view of Import and Export" - which is equivalent to the "Map of Language" (the English building) when teaching the English language. The Birds' eye-view on Import or Export gives the total activities in the department from beginning to end, in a chronological order, making clear to students the relationship of one activity with others. That two hour class is equal to many years' study in other institutions, using conventional methods.

After two years, the course was offered through correspondence on all India basis. There were participants from different countries outside India. The dean of the Commerce Department of Alighar Muslim University was a participant of the Master of Import, Export Management. After getting the final Certificate, he congratulated us for having given the most orderly knowledge about the subject and commented "Now we can teach the subject meaningfully".
